Character Name: Noah Knox
Nickname: FarCry
Hometown: Sydney, Australia- Currently Resides in Brooklyn, New York
Height: 6'2"
Weight: 230 lbs
Alignment: Neutral
In-Ring Style: High Flying Brawler
Bio: Noah Knox was born in 1990. His family ran a wrestling company in Australia but saw it was dying and, rather have his son fight in a moribund club, sent him to London to find work in 2009. He was still young and his father didn't want his son's name to be associated with being part of a dead company. He wrestled for a while, truly honing his craft, winning a few lower level titles and working his way up the card.
Knox was involved in an altercation with a Rugby player after a show one night and in turn was arrested in London for assaulting a minor. It turned out that this Rugby Player was in High School (which he would have known if he was a Native as the letters on his letterman jacket were clearly from a high school- or so the defense argued and won) and his parents pressed charges. In turn Knox spent 3 years in prison where he was beaten down constantly (prisoner's code is that you never assault a minor and new meat would often come in and take him out to make a name for themselves) Though Knox had the skill set to defend himself he allowed these men to take him down as a form of penance he felt he deserved. The guards, also abiding by the prisoner's code, would often times send him to 'The Hole' or Solitary confinement for a week at a time after these assaults, finding him at fault though he never laid a hand on anyone or covering it up as 'protecting him.'
All this time alone he found himself looking for companionship. Even his times in his cell with his cellmate were unpleasant as the men forced to bunk with him were either psychopaths or mentally challenged in other ways and could hardly be considered company. He began to talk to himself, internally. FarCry was the devil on his shoulder. It kept him sane, but kept him feeling like he was deserving of the hell he had created for himself. He convinced himself that he allowed FarCry to take over when he assaulted that child in 2013. He was not schizophrenic but he felt as though he had a dark side that he needed to keep at bay.
In 2016 he was released from Prison and sent back to the streets of London. He managed to get back to Australia where he learned his family's once struggling wrestling promotion had become the hottest wrestling act in Australia. However when he asked if he could return to the ring his father refused, not wanting to show Nepotism by allowing a felon into their midst. He offered Noah a job in the ring crew, and janitorial positions but Noah refused to not be an in ring competitor. After years of getting beaten down or an indiscretion he was rightfully yet unjustly accused of he needed to put himself into a situation where he could get his revenge yet not return to hell.
He couldn’t go back to London so he went to the United States where he found work in Brooklyn, New York in early 2017. It was here where he worked off his ring rust but still felt unfulfilled. He was constantly being fined for aggression which he again blamed on FarCry. He was fighting for free which was fine but it was hard to live with no money.
Knox felt his frustration bleeding over into his every day life and found himself walking the streets at night not looking for a warm place to stay but putting numbers on people’s heads, assigning points on how much respect he could earn from FarCry if he mangled these innocent, or sometimes guilty people.
An Angel on his other shoulder appeared named Outreach. Outreach kept FarCry at bay when needed. Outreach prevented FarCry from taking over again in every day life but he liked when FarCry took over in the ring, so much so that he allowed the persona to define him while wrestling.
