It’s Time To Change
Madison Square Garden, New York
21:00
The scene opens up with a massive smashing sound in the background. The camera then shows a door. On the door it reads “Private dressing room of Travis McKenna”. The cameraman slowly opens the door to Travis’s dressing room. We can see him, with a steel chair in hand, smashing it across the room. He is hitting the chair off the walls and off the smashing it on the floor. He is quite evidently absolutely fuming. The New Blood Wrestling fans are used to seeing Travis McKenna with a huge smirk on his face as is his arrogant nature. The fans have never seen him show such anger. He then tosses the steel chair against the wall which causes a massive bang. He then looks over and sees the cameraman has snuck into his dressing room. His anger seems to increase due to this as he begins to scream at the camera man.
Travis: What the fucking hell do you think you are doing?! How dare you sneak into my dressing room in an attempt to catch me at a low point. I cannot believe you have the gaul to do that. Get the fuck out of this dressing room before I forcibly remove you from it. Another thing, leave that camera right here.
The camera man puts the camera down on a table and quickly slithers out of the room before Travis can get to him. Travis then aggressively props the camera up on the desk so that it is facing his face as he stands up. Travis McKenna then begins to talk in a very aggressive tone, one that is akin to someone having a mental breakdown.
Travis: Week after fucking week. I put my heart and soul into wrestling for this company and I am screwed time and time again. No matter what I do, I cannot buy a win in this company. I have had three matches in New Blood Wrestling and I have lost every single one. My start to my New Blood Wrestling career has not been what I wanted it to be. Not even fucking close. I am the perfect wrestler. Just look at me. I am a fucking Adonis. These mere mortals that surround me do not deserve to be in the same vicinity as me, never mind the same ring. I am a world class wrestler. I have every single tool needed to be at the top of this company and at the top of the world. I am the greatest pure athlete in this company, I don’t think there is anyone that can doubt that. I am faster than everyone else. I am stronger than everyone else. I am tougher than everyone else. I am smarter than everyone else. To put it nice and simply, I am the best wrestler in this pathetic company. I am a god amongst men. I am up at the top standing right next to our lord and saviour. I am a god. I know what every single one of you parasites is thinking. If this is all true, why does Travis McKenna keep losing? Well, let me fucking tell you.
Vincent Pryde is a racist.
Yeah, that’s right. I just accused the chairman of this company of being a massive racist. Racist white people in powerful positions is nothing new. Just look at the entire country, we’re ran by a racist and this company is no different. Of course Vincent Pryde doesn’t want Travis McKenna at the top of his company. New Blood Wrestling is his little baby. He would rather die before he enabled a black man to succeed within this country. The facts are all there. Vincent Pryde is a fucking old school carny. He still thinks we’re living in the 60s. If he were to get his wish I’d be his fucking slave. If we’re being honest that’s the only reason he signed me to this company. He didn’t sign me for my talents, of course he didn’t. He saw me as a little monkey that he could force to do tricks for the fans. He knows how good of a wrestler I am. He knows that every single time I step into the ring I put on an instant classic. He brought me in so I could make him money. He brought me in so I can do every single bit of work for him while he sits on his fat ass and collects the money. He’s a modern day slave owner. There is no other explanation to as why I am struggling here. It quite clearly isn’t due to Travis McKenna. I have succeeded in every single thing that I have tried in life. New Blood Wrestling would be the same if it wasn’t for me being held back by Vincent Pryde. There is a reason in which Vincent Pryde put me in the women’s division to start this company. He respects women as much as he respects blacks. Not at all. I expect his stupid loyalists to jump to his defence as always. We all know the truth though. We all know the truth behind Vincent Pryde. I don’t give a single fuck about the repercussions that I might face due to these comments. I am a hero. I am a martyr. It was about time that someone stood up to Vincent Pryde and told everyone the truth. He needed to be exposed.
That’s not it though. That’s not the only reason that has led to my struggles so far here. I think it’s about time we discuss the refereeing conspiracy that has clearly been developed against Travis McKenna. It’s as evident as I have ever seen before. I am under no illusions that Vincent Pryde is behind this. It’s just another way in which he can hold me back and stop me progressing and succeeding. You saw a prime example of this just now. The pinfall, that cost Morgan and I the victory was a fast count. It was obvious for everyone to see. In what world was that a 3 count? It’s absolutely fucking ridiculous that the referees can do that and get away with it. This conspiracy against Travis McKenna is pathetic. It’s clear they don’t want me to succeed. They know that I can be bigger than this company. They know that I can be such a star they won’t be able to pay my wages. It’s clearly a disgusting ploy that needs to stop.
I will not let this phase me. I will not let this constant stream of bullshit affect me. I am better than that. I am above that. I will not let the carnies that run this shitshow hold me back. I deserve to be at the top. I deserve to be the best. I deserve to win matches. This is the birth of a new Travis McKenna. This is the birth of a new man. A fire has been lit inside of me due to the actions of others here. This shit has made me so aggressive. This is going to be a form of aggression that you have never seen before. No more losing. No more being cheated. I will not allow them to hold me down. I refuse to let this happen. The old Travis McKenna is no more. A far more fierce, a far more ruthless, a far more aggressive McKenna has been birthed. I will make the higher ups here in New Blood Wrestling regret their actions. I will make them regret the way that they attempted to hold me back. All that they have managed to do is light up a fire inside of me. I thought they would know that you shouldn’t poke a bear. They have gone ahead and constantly prodded the biggest god damn bear in the whole woods week after week until the bear has finally snapped. I am prepared to do even more damage to my opponents. I am prepared to hurt them to a point in which they never want to step into this ring ever again. I am going to work out even harder. I am going to put in even more hours at the gym. I am going to get bigger, faster, stronger, smarter. Every single bit of gradual improvement that I was planning on going through, I am going to go through every single one at once. I deserve to be the best, absolutely nobody is going to stop me from achieving that goal.
Travis McKenna’s path of destruction begins. It begins at Blood Moon Rising. My ascent to the top of New Blood Wrestling starts there. I will be facing one on one against Chaos at the Pay Per View. This is where every single thing changes. The three loses that I have suffered before this match mean absolutely nothing. They are all being forgotten about. Nobody cares about those losses. The only thing that matters is the future. The only thing that matters is Blood Moon Rising. When my arm is being raised in victory by the stupid referee after I have pinned Chaos nobody will give a fuck about my previous matches. The only thing that matters is your most recent match. You’re only as good as what you have just done. This match with Chaos is a new start. Chaos doesn’t even know the pain and punishment that is coming his way. I’ll give Chaos some credit, he is a unit. He is a big guy. It’s just a real shame that I am even bigger. I am even stronger than he is. The only thing that he normally has over his opponents is his size. He doesn’t have that anymore. He has really met his match this weekend. He claims that he is a hardened warrior who has been through everything and seen it all. How naïve of you, Chaos. You haven’t seen anything yet. You haven’t been in the ring with Travis McKenna. You haven’t stood in a ring, looked across the ring and looked into my eyes. It is like you are looking into the deep abyss and you’re just destined to fall into it. When this match was announced, I bet that you were all happy and delighted that you would be facing the over arrogant, fun loving Travis McKenna. You would have never expected this Travis McKenna to emerge. You didn’t realise that you were going to be facing the most pissed off motherfucker in this company. I feel sorry for you, having to face me in the mood that I am in. You have really been handed a shit hand for this Pay Per View. I can’t believe that you’re going to be embarrassed and annihilated on the first ever New Blood Wrestling PPV. It’s going to be incredible picking up my first victory at the first PPV. I am going to shock the world.
Travis McKenna then picks the camera up. He mouths “It’s over for you motherfuckers” at the camera before opening his locker room door. He then throws the camera back at the cameraman which causes it to show static and then go off.
