"Finally, some good fucking competition."
We hear Gray Zee's voice coming out of his locker room, the camera zooms in and we can find him looking the matchcard for Bloody Monday. He's talking about Kendrick Kross, his opponent tomorrow.
"It's been a long time since I've had real competition, I was starting to feel a bit unchallenged in the wrestling business.
The last time I had real competition was one month ago, finally the NBW Headquarters are realizing what I'm capable of. My loss against him was unacceptable from a perspective, but in the end it was fair."
Gray is feeling good today, even though he hates losing, as he stops his thought and greets one person passing by.
"I remember the first time I had real competition when I started in the Wrestling business. On the card it was equal, but in the ring? I gave him an ass whooping you would never expect, resulting with me as new Champion. Oh I loved the looks of everyone in that arena. Even the faked looks from the commentators."
His phone rings and who could it be? It's none other than his partner in business, Gabriel Lane. The one who manages him in other wrestling companies, making sure that Gray's needs are always satisfied.
"Oh hey, Gabriel! My man! What's going on?"
"Always the same. Making sure all goes smooth like butter. Getting the best deals possible regarding your Wrestling career." Gabriel says.
"I know that, my friend! Did you See who my opponent here in NBW is?"
Gabriel: "Come on, man. You know that I always know what's happening. I'm three steps ahead."
"I'm sorry hahaha. It's just the fact that I'm excited."
"You? Excited? The "Big Deal" Gray Zee, the one pummeling his opponents, making them look like jobbers is excited for one time? Even excited after that stupid loss?"
Gray laughs, hitting himself with a facepalm and says: "Yeah, you know, sometimes even I am excited. Happy to see that someone respects me and my skill. I can't always keep the game face on. And about the loss, Kross is a really good competitor. Means that we're on a good way if we're put against real talents."
"You're right, Gray. 100%. Anyways, I have to go. I have an important meeting."
"See you later, bro."
His attention is turned back to the camera.
"You know what I said about Cassidy Kaine? I'm a man of my word, what I said will happen. And I know that I'm proceeding, since I've been put against a very talented guy named Kendrick Kross.
But, to be honest, even talent can't beat me. I REFUSE to be beaten. Last week it was the element of surprise which got me. I lost against it rather than against Kendrick Kross. This time, it's going to be different. And you know why?"
He stands up as he goes to the door, where his name is written on it.
"Because this (pointing his finger at the name) is what I'm all about. This name isn't here to be covered in dirt. One loss doesn't keep me away from arriving at the top of the mountain once again.
Kendrick? Prepare yourself, this time don't hold back.
Kassidy? Keep your profile low, that's the only way you can escape from my sight."
